The soft grass stands are beautifully maintained, and having a private kitchen and bathroom at each stand makes camping incredibly comfortable. The sea view is one of the best we've ever had — the ocean is calm and warm, perfect for floating for hours with a pool noodle or lilo right in front of your campsite. The swimming pool is clean, well maintained, and ideal for cooling down on the hotter days. This was truly an awesome holiday. We stayed on stand 36 with a sea view for 25 days and enjoyed every single moment, even the few rainy days. This was one of the best trips we have done so far. The grass campsites are just perfect. It is clear that the whole camping site is managed by perfection. The only downside is the locals who gathered in front of the camping sites trying to sell stuff. And the young children begging and shouting at you if you do not give attention. “Gorgeous campsite set right along the beach. Lovely pool area and beautiful greenery surrounding everything. Walkable to quite a few nice restaurants and cafes on the beach and in town. Each camp spot is very well equipped and clean with lots of plug points, taps with drinking water and private ablutions with hot showers. Excellent value for money too. Lastly, Jan went above and beyond to help us out with a few things which made our lives so much simpler, for which we are very thankful.”

“This is an island style camping site, never seen a camp site in SA like this. We've extended our stay from 10 days to 16 days and would've stayed longer. We've already spotted our stand for our next trip. Jan is a 🌟, Benson assisted with sim/data, the pool is sparkling clean and taken care of twice a day. The luscious green grass, the huge trees and beautiful gardens is like a botanical paradise and a bird paradise. We've met the owner of Aguia Negra, 8 Units, 22-on-Sea and the campsite. Also had a glimpse in his stunning Casa. Stephen McIntyre and wife Suzette, but what a lovely down to earth couple. Jan is hands-on with his friendly employees. Walking distance to the bakery for fresh päos, restaurants, Taurus Supermarcado that stock SA products, receive fresh fruit and vegs on a Saturday. The VIP Spar is a beautiful shop but NOT SA prices. Disappointed in some restaurants, their service and quality somewhat dissappointing. Same goes on prices, one charge you mt150 for a 2M and others mt80. I get the impression there is a local price list and a tourist price lists. We climbed the famous Red Dunes with breathtaking views only 4km away, drove to Archipelago Beach Resort 7km from the main road. Unfortunately it rained the whole day so we couldn't enjoy the resort with its stunning views. “Never seen a campsite so well laid out, 5 stars! 🤩 The pitches are well-defined and very spacious, on grassy ground. Each one has a block with a kitchenette, barbecue, sink, electrical outlets, and a shower room. The site is guarded day and night. Absolutely fantastic!”

“We spent two nights at Jan's 5 Star Campsite on our way up the coast of Mozambique. Jan met us in person and made sure we were well settled. The facilities are really 6 Star in terms of campsites; what you see on the website photos is what you get...perfectly maintained and spotless ablutions, thick lush grass to camp and lounge on, a perfectly maintained pool and excellent security. Cleaners come in the morning to clean the individual units. Minor negatives; I had some frustration with the online booking process (an eft was demanded before our arrival although it is off season, and I had indicated that I was in a location which made this difficult), and the neighbours in houses outside the complex were rowdy throughout both nights. It's the perfect stop over to clean up and refresh if you're camping your way up/down along the Moz coast, an excellent offering from Jan and his team.”
