Child and Infant Policy

We're happy to host families at Jan's 5 Star. Vilanculos is a beachfront environment with real hazards, so we ask every family to read this short policy.

Guest count

• Children count toward the 4-guest maximum per stand regardless of age.

Supervision

• An adult must actively supervise children at all times during your stay, particularly on the beach and near the sea. Our team cannot supervise children.
• Tides and currents change quickly; keep children within reach in the water, swim at daylight, and mind local guidance on marine life.

Infants

• Requests for infant equipment (for example a travel cot) can be raised with our team in advance via camp@jan5star.co.za or WhatsApp +27 61 930 1924; availability and any charge are confirmed at the time of request.
• Infants using such equipment still count toward registered guests for safety records.

We provide emergency contact details in your arrival instructions and respond promptly on WhatsApp +27 61 930 1924 to any safety concern.

Parents and guardians accept that use of the beach and property by children is at the supervising adult's responsibility, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
